Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials for use in manufacture of printed circuit boards and printed electronics, has promoted Kathy Linares to a new position as Vice President of IT and Customer Experience.
“I am pleased to announce that our vice president of IT Kathy Linares will assume an additional role as she leads our inside sales team effective immediately,” announced Patrick Redfern, Insulectro President and CEO, “Our ISMs have one of the most critical jobs in the company as they need to be prepared and ready to answer requests and questions from customers across all of our product lines while smoothing over challenges. In addition, the team is spread all over the country – each region with its own idiosyncrasies.”
Ken Parent, Chief Operating Officer, agreed, “Kathy brings the leadership skills necessary to create a real team-dynamic with consistent messaging. Over the past two years, Kathy has worked closely with our ISMs to refine processes and procedures to be more efficient and more friendly to our customers. As we evolve from manual systems to automated systems, Kathy understands the importance of ISMs staying personal and involved with their clients’ purchases, order processing, and delivery.”
“I'm really looking forward to helping our ISMs and customers knock down obstacles while working to elevate the customer experience to a new level, as a unified inside sales team,” Linares responded. “Insulectro is blessed to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals that are totally focused on delighting our customers, enabling them to build better circuits, faster.”
“Kathy came to Insulectro with 17 years of experience working in a variety of sales and sales-support roles beyond her current skills in information technology, cybersecurity, and digital marketing. She is an expert at building and transforming high performance teams,” Redfern concluded. Linares will continue to report to Redfern.
Before joining Insulectro in 2019, Linares was most recently Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Orora Packaging Solutions, a publicly held company offering tailored packaging solutions. During her 7-plus year tenure, her signature achievement was her leadership in procuring, designing, and implementing Orora’s SAP transition from a legacy ERP system involving over 2500 employees and 60 international business locations.
